Cookie policy

Last updated: [DATE]

Draft — to be approved by TWG legal counsel. This text is a working draft prepared for review and is not yet in force. Bracketed items are to be completed by TWG.

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) are small pieces of data saved on your device. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how it is used.

2. What we use

  • Strictly necessary — always on. These remember your cookie choice (twg-cookie-consent, local storage), your Enquiry List, and first-visit campaign details for the current session so your enquiry is routed correctly. They do not track you across other sites.
  • Analytics — only if you click “Accept”. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) to count visits and measure which pages and forms work. IP addresses are anonymised.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

3. Your choices

When you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics cookies; rejecting them does not affect the site. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again [or use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, once added]. You can also block cookies in your browser, though some features may not work.

4. More information

See our privacy policy for how we handle personal data and how to contact our Grievance Officer.
